University of Detroit Mercy will host the Great Lakes Bioneers Detroit 14th Annual Conference (GLBD), Nov. 2-3, on the McNichols Campus. GLBD works to support and encourage sustainable communities in Detroit and southeast Michigan. The yearly conference highlights and celebrates recent research in food, water, air and soil quality, green jobs, renewable energy, green architecture and place-based education.
