University Ministry and the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs invite all Detroit Mercy employees to the Winter Colleague Development Day on Friday, Jan. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. Register online. The workshop is limited to 70 participants and includes lunch.
This one-day training session, titled, Introduction to Systemic Racism, has been made possible through a grant from the Sisters of Mercy and will be facilitated by ERACCE (Eliminating Racism & Creating/Celebrating Equity). The day will help build a common language necessary for having productive conversations about race and systemic racism.
