Looking to give back this season? This year, in collaboration with Public Safety and various offices and departments, the Student Life Office has organized the annual Detroit Mercy Giving Tree. We are counting on the generosity of our University community to help 11 local families have an incredible Christmas. Last year, we were able to collect more than 100 gifts. Can we beat our record this year?
Get in the Santa spirit in three simple steps:
- Stop by the Student Union and choose an ornament off the Giving Tree, located next to the Bookstore and across from the University Ministry Office.
- Purchase and wrap the gift indicated on the ornament.
- Drop the wrapped gift off at the Student Life Office with the ornament attached so we can make sure the gift gets to the appropriate family.
Gifts are due by Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. Thank you to everyone who can help make this holiday season a little brighter for families in need.
