The 2020-2021 University Ministry Internship program is now open for application to all Detroit Mercy students. This is a formation program to accompany students on their faith journey while serving peers in a specific area of ministry. Interns will:
- Attend and facilitate retreats and other University Ministry experiences and events
- Attend bi-weekly community formation sessions
- Meet bi-weekly with a staff mentor
- Collaboratively create and implement a mission project
- Receive a $500 stipend per semester
Ideal candidates are responsible, engaged in campus activities or organizations and interested in exploring and deepening their spirituality. Students of all faiths are welcome to apply for the program. Priority application deadline will be Monday, March 16; final deadline is Monday, March 23 with interviews beginning Wednesday, March 18.
