Last week, we marked the dates that would have been commencement for undergraduate and graduate students on our three campuses. During the entire month of May, the University will continue to celebrate the growth and accomplishments of our graduates as they move out into the world to live out the values that their education has helped them claim. A Detroit Mercy education is not only formative but transformative. The transformation that we seek is not only of our students but of all of us who work to deliver such an education. This week, we are grateful to Billy Myers for sharing his reflection about how his year as a Jesuit Volunteer in University Ministry at Detroit Mercy has formed him.
