2021 Law Review Symposium: Pandemic from Disparity to Equity

The Detroit Mercy Law Review welcomes scholars, legal professionals and community leaders from across the country to discuss issues at the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic. Panelists will examine the disparities among gender, education, healthcare, employment, and people and communities of color during this health crisis. The virtual Law Review Symposium will be on Friday, March 5 on Zoom. Registrants will receive an email 1-2 days before the event with Zoom link and instructions.   • Opening Remarks & Keynote Speaker: Reginald Turner – Noon to 1:30 p.m.
  • Panel 1: COVID and the Law – 1:30 to 3 p.m.
  • Panel 2: Employment During a Pandemic – 3 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Panel 3 & Closing Remarks: COVID’s Impact on Human Rights – 4:30 to 6:15 p.m.
