Vaccination Requirement Promotional Drawings from July 28 – Aug. 4

Vaccination Requirement Promotional Drawings from July 28 – Aug. 4

On Wednesday, July 28, the University will begin a vaccination requirement promotion that will consist of drawings for both students and employees. This promotion is open to all who have fulfilled the University’s vaccination requirement by uploading proof of vaccination or having an approved exemption. If you have already completed this step, then you are automatically entered to win!

Prizes

To encourage remaining students and employees to upload their proof of vaccination as soon as possible, the University will offer prizes ranging from $250 to $1,000 gift cards as well as a personalized parking spot for a student and employee. The daily drawings will run each business day between July 28 through August 4. The School of Dentistry students and employees will have a separate drawing on August 5 and 6. Winners will be notified via Detroit Mercy email. Don’t miss your opportunity to cash in or have a prime parking spot for the term.

Employees

As a reminder, employees can easily upload their proof of vaccination here:  Employee Proof of Vaccination

If you have a unique circumstance that did not allow you to file for an exemption by the July 12 deadline and you need to do so, please contact employeewaiver@udmercy.edu for next steps.  Should you have any questions, please contact Human Resources at hr@udmercy.edu.

Students

Students can upload proof of a vaccination to Med+Proctor, a healthcare technology company that supports the immunization verification process for colleges and universities. Uploading your COVID-19 vaccination proof with Med+Proctor is easy, secure and free.

You can find the exemption form by clicking here: Student Medical, Religious or Philosophical Exemption Request Form

For a misplaced card:

Every vaccine should be recorded in the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR). The contact information is listed below. If you received a vaccination from Rite Aid Pharmacy at the University-held clinics, you may also try to contact Rite Aid Pharmacy locally or online to see if they can validate a new card for you. The University does not keep vaccine clinic registrant information.
