Travel to India information session, Sept. 23

Travel to India information session, Sept. 23

Learn more about an internationally-based educational experience in India, scheduled for May 2023, by attending a virtual information session on Sept. 23 at 12:45 p.m.

This journey will take us to India’s famous “Golden Triangle,” or the cities of New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. On each leg of the tour, local expert guides will travel with the group, sharing their insights into the specific region, as well as their knowledge of the historically and culturally significant sites we will be visiting.

The trip is offered with a 3-credit History course taught by Associate Professor of History Diane Robinson-Dunn during the winter semester of 2023. The class will explore the history of the Indian subcontinent, with an emphasis on cultural encounters and exchanges.

Please contact Robinson-Dunn at robinsod@udmercy.edu to RSVP for the virtual information session and obtain Zoom credentials.

For more information about the program in India or the information session, contact Robinson-Dunn or Lara Wasner, director of Language and Cultural Training, at wasnerle@udmercy.edu or 313-993-1107.
