Dear Detroit Mercy Community,
As Chair of the Search Committee for University of Detroit Mercy’s 26th president, I want to thank those of you who took the time to attend a meeting this week with representatives of Isaacson, Miller, our presidential search consultants. It is important to remain open and listen to all voices as the search to replace President Antoine M. Garibaldi moves forward.
In our efforts to make this process as transparent as possible, the University has created a web page for information about the search. On udmercy.edu/presidential-search, you will find a place to provide input and even nominate a particular candidate. This site will be where announcements will be posted as the search progresses, as well.
We hope you will find this web page an important resource as we seek the University’s next president.
