Holidays begin with tree lighting, De-Stress Fest

Ring in the holiday season with fellow Titans during the Christmas Tree Lighting and De-Stress Fest on Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Student Fitness Center. The tree lighting is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Students can hone their crafting abilities by making lip balm, Christmas ornaments and stovetop potpourri. Hot chocolate, Christmas cookies and prizes will be available.

Roll away the stress from the fall semester at the Play-Doh table, or cozy up with Bentley, the Student Success Center’s service dog, while enjoying live music coordinated by University Ministry. Students can also participate in “Elf Training School” games, which include an indoor snowball fight and a Christmas-themed sack race.

The event is co-sponsored by University Ministry, Student Life, Residence Life, the Student Fitness Center, the Wellness Center and the Student Success Center.
