Help support those in need and consider a gift donation this Christmas season through the Student Life Office’s Giving Tree campaign.
The Detroit Mercy community has teamed up with the Student Life Office in previous holiday seasons, donating more than 200 gifts to people in need through the gift-giving drive.
Although there is no longer an in-person donation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is still a need for collective giving in the local community. With this in mind, the Student Life Office has highlighted a few organizations in the Pope Francis Center and Vista Maria.
The Pope Francis Center’s mission surrounds supporting individuals who are facing homelessness and Vista Maria focuses on supporting women, girls and families.
Donate a gift through the Pope Francis Center Amazon Wish List and Vista Maria’s Target Charity Registry.
