The Chemistry Club is hosting its annual Women in Science symposium virtually on Friday, Feb. 11 from 5:30-7 p.m.
Three speakers are scheduled to talk via Zoom on a variety of topics in breakout rooms, with the topics including work-life balance, diversity opportunities, challenges at small institutions and active allyship. The panelists featured during the symposium:
- Andrea Matti, senior lecturer of chemistry at Wayne State University
- Angela Asirvatham, associate professor of biology at Misericordia University
- Jacob Kagey, associate professor of biology at Detroit Mercy
