University of Detroit Mercy honored five faculty members at the annual Faculty Recognition event, which was held March 4 at the Student Fitness Center on the McNichols Campus.
The excellence and achievement awards were for both 2020 and 2021.

2020 Faculty Achievement Award — Evan Peterson, Arnold Jarboe chair of Business Administration and director of undergraduate Business programs, College of Business Administration
2021 Faculty Excellence Award — Mary White, associate professor, College of Health Professions and McAuley School of Nursing
2021 Faculty Achievement Award — Sigrid Streit, associate professor of English and director of Writing Across the Curriculum, College of Liberal Arts & Education
