Associate Library Professor Sandra Wilson and Assistant Library Professor Rebecca Tull hosted more than 120 sophomores, along with social studies teachers, from the International Academy of Macomb, an International Baccalaureate high school.

Over the course of two mornings, the pair hosted the school for research instruction and assistance on the U.S. Civil Rights era. The spring break sessions, which the library has partnered with IAM annually since 2019, serves as the kick-off to a project that culminates in an extensive research paper and an introduction to academic research.
