Detroit Mercy’s new and innovative STAR Center was featured in a television spot Thursday, Feb. 22 on PBS Detroit’s weekly show, One Detroit. Staff, faculty and students talked about the STAR Center with One Detroit’s Daijah Moss.
The Simulation, Technology and Research (STAR) Center, housed inside of the College of Health Professions Building on the McNichols Campus, is a 5,000 square foot facility with simulation hospital suites, fully equipped with beds, mannequins, medical supplies and technologies.
The center fully opened in June 2023 and is used by all McAuley School of Nursing and College of Health Professions programs.
