Unwind from midterms and build community with University Ministry nature day, Oct. 24

University Ministry will host a post-midterm day of hiking, home-cooked dinner and campfire fun for students on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 3-8 p.m.

Students who wish to participate in the chili, chill and connect event will meet at the University Ministry office, located in the Lower Level of the Student Union, at 3 p.m. Transportation will be provided to the Palmer Park trails and University Ministry Director Anita Klueg’s house in the University District.

The event provides students a chance to unwind, reconnect with nature, build community and recharge after a stressful exam season. Dinner will include homemade chili and apple pie, and students can enjoy s’mores and singing around a bonfire’s warm glow.

Students can contact Klueg at kluegag@udmercy.edu with any questions.
