Assistant Professor Yolonda Freeman-Hildreth of the Physician Assistant Program has been recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of PAs (AAPA). This distinction is earned by less than 2% of the membership of AAPA.

Freeman-Hildreth earned this national recognition due to her outstanding contributions to patient care and the profession during 20 years as a PA. She also demonstrated significant dedication and involvement in the profession at a local, state and national level.
