Detroit Mercy community members are invited to two leadership slam sessions on Tuesday, Nov. 6. From 11:20 to 12:30 p.m. and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., speaker Bill Cook will deliver his keynote, “Two Men Named Francis: The Saint and the Pope,” in the Genevieve Fisk Loranger Architecture Center of the Warren Loranger Architecture Building. Refreshments will be served.
Cook is Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wabash College and received his masters and doctorate at Cornell University. He has been teaching medieval and Renaissance history at State University of New York at Genesco.
