In past years, the University has encouraged University employees to consider nominating a successful alumnus who may qualify for an Alumni Achievement Spirit Award. This year, we are once again seeking your nominations.
The Spirit Awards pay tribute to Detroit Mercy alumni who have achieved extraordinary success in their careers and in their communities. This year, we will recognize honorees at the celebration dinner on Friday, April 24. If you would like to nominate someone for this prestigious award, please complete this form before Friday, Sept. 20. This will give us ample time to review all nominations and select the best candidates for this year’s celebration. Criteria for the award is listed on the form’s page.
To avoid confusion, it is not necessary nor is it encouraged for you to notify a nominee that their name has been submitted. Once the honorees have been selected, the Alumni Relations team will reach out to them.
