This week’s blood drive, sponsored by the Student Nursing Association, will be on Wednesday, Sept. 25 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Student Union Fountain Lounge Walk-ins are always welcome. Everyone who signs in to donate blood will receive a coupon for a FREE pizza!
Every day blood transfusions take place that saves lives of many people all over the world. About 5 million Americans need a blood transfusion. Donating blood can help in treating patients suffering from cancer, bleeding disorders, chronic anemia associated with cancer, sickle cell anemia, and other hereditary blood abnormalities.
