All Detroit Mercy students are invited to participate in the Student Alumni Leadership Council’s (SALC) Annual Student Etiquette Luncheon, an afternoon focused on professional and personal development.
The event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 12:30-2 p.m., in the Student Union Ballroom. Participants will elevate leadership skills with hands-on conversation, expert coaching and actionable strategies to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape.
The keynote speaker for this year’s event is Teresa Thiele, senior vice president of Global Purchasing Programs at Stellantis. Alumni from the Women of Stellantis will present as well as lead roundtable discussions regarding the following topics:
- Learn the power of saying “no” with confidence
- Innovative problem solving
- Crafting a compelling elevator pitch that leaves a lasting impression
- Mastering negotiation techniques
Lunch and opportunities to network and practice new skills are included at this FREE event. Business attire is encouraged.
