University Minister for Service and Justice Erin McDonald represented Detroit Mercy at a global gathering in Rome, Italy for the 50th Anniversary of the Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat (SJES) of the Jesuits. During this gathering, McDonald had a private audience with Pope Francis, at which time he gave a blessing and words of inspiration.
