Detroit Mercy Alumni Relations and the Student Alumni Association encourage all students to come out for Day of Giving on Tuesday, Feb. 18 on the McNichols Campus. Day of Giving educates students about the importance and need for alumni engagement and the role alumni play in meeting University priorities. Events and programming for this year’s event are focused on educating students, thanking donors and presenting ways to give back through time, talent and treasure.
Golf Cart Trivia
9 a.m. to noon, Shiple Hall
Free hot cocoa and a personal chauffeur rides across campus in a golf cart: just answer a few trivia questions to earn your ride.
Goodie Giveaways
9 a.m. to noon, McNichols Campus
Keep an eye out for SAA members around campus for special goodie bags.
Pasta for a Purpose
12:45 to 2 p.m., Fountain Lounge
Everyone who participates in the thank you note station can enjoy free lunch. There will also be special alumni present, eager to network with students.
Fountain Lounge Activities
Students can enter a drawing for a pair of Apple AirPods, a $150 Somerset Mall gift card or tickets to any event at Little Caesars Arena (up to $150 value). There will be an Alumni Relations Plinko trivia challenge for a chance to win Detroit Mercy swag.
Student Organization Group Photos
A professional photographer will be available to take group pictures of the first seven student/Greek Life organizations in the Fountain Lounge between 12:45 and 2 p.m. First come, first serve.
