In response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19, Tuesday, May 5 has been designated as #GivingTuesdayNow, a day of giving, generosity and unity. #GivingTuesdayNow hopes to inspire donations and citizen engagement to support communities and nonprofits around the world.
The #WorldNeedsTitans more than ever during this unprecedented time. Read about the inspiring ways the Detroit Mercy has stepped up during the COVID-19 pandemic in our Snapshots of a Pandemic series.
If you can, please help by making a donation of any size. Your gift would make a world of difference to Detroit Mercy and our students. It would show our students that they are supported by a worldwide community of Detroit Mercy alumni and friends.
You can designate your gift to scholarships or the Detroit Mercy Annual Fund, which helps with the University’s areas of greatest need. In addition, we have three crowdfunding campaigns that are directly helping students and our surrounding neighbors right now during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gifts to the Alumni Scholarship Fund and the Detroit Mercy Annual Fund can be made here.
Donations to the COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund, The Hive – Student Pantry and Campus Kitchen can be made on our crowdfunding website.
The CARES Act contains enhanced charitable giving incentives. More information can be found on our website here.
As we have learned from the experiences of the past couple months, we are at our best when we come together with a common goal. We are Titans and we help those who need it.
