Unveiling Religious Life initiative offers support

Could you be called to religious life as a sister, brother or priest? Want to learn more about what religious life is like today?

Unveiling Religious Life (URL) seeks to engage with undergraduate students and University graduates who are open to a vocation to religious life but might not otherwise have access to peers who are discerning a religious vocation. URL is an initiative to young adults with spiritual and practical resources for vocational discernment and foster community among peers who are exploring the possibility of entering religious life. The initiative is not aimed at recruiting potential members for a particular religious order, rather, encouraging young adults to be open to finding a religious order whose charism best resonates with God’s call in their lives.

URL launches with a series of religious life discernment events hosted on Zoom, featuring panelists from a variety of women’s and men’s religious orders:

  • Am I Called? – Sunday, Dec. 20 at 3 p.m.
  • A Day in the Life: A look at religious life today – Sunday, Jan. 17 at 3 p.m.
  • What’s Next: Finding support in discernment – Sunday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m.
