Join us for Day of Giving 2021 on Tuesday, Feb. 9 and participate in as many of the activities as you can to win big prizes! Submit proof of each activity you complete to be entered in a drawing for gifts including an Amazon Echo Show, $100 Amazon gift card and $50 bookstore gift card. Anyone who submits proof from at least one activity will also receive special Detroit Mercy tech stickers.
Each year, Detroit Mercy hosts Day of Giving, a day to celebrate how alumni contributions of time, talent and treasure help current students and enrich the University’s programming.
Day of Giving is sponsored by the Student Alumni Leadership Council, Annual Giving, and Alumni Relations.

Three featured alumni share ways the University impacted them as students and talk about where they are now in a virtual panel. Come meet Microsoft IT Pioneer Hank Durkin ’73, Professional Development Consultant Christian Williams ’13 ’15 and Pinnacle Construction Managing Partner Michael Carter ’72 ’78. All-day Activities
- Watch the Day of Giving video.
- Take a selfie with Day of Giving signs around campus.
- Sign a virtual thank you card for an alumni donor.
- Participate in virtual trivia (see above for times)
- Find alumni highlights on social media and like, comment and screenshot.
- Post your participation points on Instagram or to our Facebook and tag @DetroitMercySALC.
- Make a contribution to the Senior Class Gift Campaign or the Day of Giving crowdfunding campaign.
- Note: Receive five bonus entries if you take part in all above activities!
