AJCU Go Move Challenge begins
University of Detroit Mercy will once again face other Jesuit colleges and universities in the AJCU Go Move Challenge, beginning this week! This is a month-long competition to see which campus moves the most. Movement, for the sake of this challenge, is defined as any purpose-driven movement including walking, lifting weights, taking fitness classes, shoveling snow, skiing and more. Logging your movement is based on the honor system. As a smaller campus, comparatively, Detroit Mercy will compete to win the “average minutes per person” category.
What does the University win? Bragging rights for the year. What do you win? The winning department/organizations will win a trophy to display in their office or campus space. Last year, the School of Architecture took first place with MarCom coming in second.
Register online with your name, email and department today! Join the Go Move Challenge Facebook group to share pictures and motivation throughout February.
