Stereotype and Identity Threat: The Science of a Diverse Community

  1. Understand what stereotype threat and identity threat are and how they impact student learning.
  2. Comprehend the definition of diverse learning communities.
  3. Recognize why diverse learning communities are especially important for minoritized students and women in STEM.
  4. Gain tools to achieve a diverse learning community.
