The Writing Center (TWC) is open for online appointments between May 10-Aug 12.
(TWC) is fully staffed four days a week for online writing consultations. The highly skilled staff is available to work with Detroit Mercy students on any stage of the writing process, in all courses across the curriculum. TWC staff also has extensive experience helping students with graduate application essays, including personal statements and statements of purpose.
Students can create their own accounts and book appointments online. Proof of attendance comes in two ways: email confirmation after a completed appointment or the student can screenshot the final chat exchange with the consultant, showing end-time of the session. Both methods allow students to provide proof-of-session directly to professors.
As the semester progresses, TWC sessions tend to book up very quickly. We recommend that students come early and often for any required or recommended TWC sessions.
