On behalf of the Student Alumni Leadership Council and Alumni Relations, our Student Spotlight shines on senior Sebastian Carlesso!
Carlesso radiates positive energy and is always engaged in pleasant conversation. He has been critical in spreading the SALC mission – instilling pride in the Detroit Mercy community, enhancing the overall student experience, connecting students to one another, alumni and their University and creating a culture of philanthropy and leadership for the SALC. Carlesso’s perspective has been critical in this year of transition and SALC is very appreciative of his contributions. He is also very involved in student life and is often easy to find across campus.
Carlesso can now proudly call Detroit Mercy his alma mater among other family members, including his father who works in University Advancement. His sister also currently attends the University. Alumni Relations comments, that they “could not be more proud, and cannot wait to see Sebastian at many alumni events. Congratulations and best of luck as you take on your new role at Ascension!”
