Due to the generosity of the Ford Motor Company Fund, Detroit Mercy is able to offer a second round of the Ford Community Corps Partnerships grants for creative service-learning projects. The deadline for Round Two “Explorer Model” proposals is Sept. 10. The Institute for Leadership and Service strongly encourages anyone interested to contact ILS as soon as possible. Additionally, as in years past, Ford has offered a round of “Mustang Model” mini-grants during the month of July. ILS will keep the community posted on new developments for service-learning.
