Cybersecurity online course required for all 2021 employees

Cybersecurity online course required for all 2021 employees

An important message from ITS to all Detroit Mercy employees

To comply with the University’s insurance carriers with goal of enhancing the knowledge of our employees to better identify cybersecurity issues, the University is required to have all new and current employees complete an online cybersecurity course. ITS has partnered with our risk management services company, Christian Brothers, and our Finance office to bring to you an online course titled, “Cybersecurity Awareness in the Workplace.” This short course will provide information on email and other IT related security topics.

The course is available online and is self-paced. Once started, you may return to complete at a later time.

To get started, you will soon receive an email message from Christian Brother’s In2Vate system providing account login details. Please keep this message as it will provide to you a link that automatically signs you into the In2Vate system.

A second email will include a link to start the “Cybersecurity Awareness in the Workplace” course. Once in, you will be presented with your course link. Please click the “start” button to begin the course.

Upon successful completion, a printable certificate is available should you wish to showcase your knowledge in this area. Christian Brother’s In2Vate training system has many other online courses available and others may be assigned to you in the near future.

If you have questions about this course, please reach out to its@udmercy.edu.
