Catholic Studies program sponsoring management talk, Oct. 6

Detroit Mercy’s Catholic Studies program is sponsoring a talk titled “Management as a Calling” by Andrew Hoffman, a professor of Sustainable Enterprise at the University of Michigan, on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. in Chemistry 114. Hoffman will talk about business as a vocation and calling to serve humanity.

Hoffman’s research uses organizational behavior models and theories to understand the cultural and institutional aspects of environmental issues for organizations. His talk will challenge the views of business, while giving the audience something to think about.

The talk is free and open to the public. Facemasks are required and refreshments will be available.
