Students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends are invited to join the English Department’s Creative Writing Collective, which will hold its next meeting Tuesday, Oct. 19 from 5-6:30 p.m.
The Creative Writing Collective meets monthly in the McNichols Campus’ Outdoor Fountain Area near the Student Union.
Creative writers in all genres and levels of writing are welcome for discussion, feedback, idea-sharing and writing. Detroit Mercy professors Michael Lauchlan and Amanda Hiber are set to lead discussion of how to write and incorporate dialogue into both prose and poetry.
Following Tuesday’s meeting, the next Creative Writing Collective meeting is slated for Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 5-6:30 p.m.
