COVID-19 crisis documentary directed by CHP & MSON professor presented at national Film Festival

A documentary video on the COVID-19 crisis, directed by Associate Professor of Health Services Administration Zigmond Kozicki, was presented at the American Public Health Association’s Public Health Film Festival in late October.

The video, created in October 2020, examines COVID-19 as a public health concern. It shares research conducted by Kozicki, researcher Stephanie Baiyasi and two University of Detroit Mercy students on Michigan hospitals and public health agencies.

The video has been used in two College of Health Professions & McAuley School of Nursing courses to provide insight about how public health is important to health services.

Read a story published last fall on the research done by Kozicki, Baiyasi and two Detroit Mercy students.
