Detroit Mercy Dental Associate Professor and Assistant Dean of Educational Development Kathi Shepherd received the Michigan Dental Hygienists’ Association Frances Shook Award.

The award is presented to an individual who has contributed significantly to the dental hygiene profession as well as emulates the qualities and attributes of Frances Shook, who was an icon in the history and development of the profession in Michigan.
