Detroit Mercy students to be featured on Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice, Nov. 7

Imagining A Path Forward, Reflection. Reckoning. Kinship. Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice 2021. A virtual + in-person experience, October / November 2021Two Detroit Mercy students, Marina Mahmud and Eber Romo, will be presenting on “How to Start Immigration Advocacy on Campus” on Sunday, Nov. 7 at 9 a.m. ET.

The presentation is part of the Ignition Family Teach-In for Justice 2021 event, which runs from Nov. 6-8.

Mahmud and Romo will share their experiences in advocating for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students during their address.
