The Writing Center is kicking off December with a pair of events for students.
On Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 5-7 p.m., The Writing Center will host Write Night. Students can join Writing Center consultants for focused writing time, snacks and help with their work. There’s no need to register; just show up and work on your writing assignments.
The Writing Center will aid students with its Decoding Instructor Feedback event on Tuesday, Dec. 7 from 1-1:45 p.m. Instructors use a variety of words and common abbreviations when they respond to their students’ writing. Sometimes, these words seem confusing. In this workshop, Senior Consultant Stuart Tucker will help students translate these terms and offer tips for revising.
