Detroit Mercy student Zayan Rahman recently shared her marvelous watercolor that she painted for her Conversation Partner, Zongming Jiang. Rahman had hoped that the painting, based on Jiang’s description of his hometown city, would make him feel more at home here in the United States.
This is just one example of how Conversation Partners is building bridges within our Detroit Mercy community.
Conversation Partners is a student organization established to build cultural bridges between domestic and international students, as well as help international students who are non-native English speakers enhance their conversation skills. Individuals or other student organizations are welcome to join this student organization and students don’t need to belong to any organization on campus in order to participate!
