The Office of Mission Integration is set to host “Justice Seminar: Called to Care for the Stranger” on Friday, Jan. 28 at 3:30 p.m.
The Justice Seminar will explore the Sisters of Mercy’s critical concern of immigration, a concern reflected in the Jesuits’ apostolic preference of walking with the poor and the outcast, and its roots in Catholic social thought.
At this virtual session, Catherine Punsalan-Manlimos, assistant to the President for Mission Integration, will speak on the impact of racism on immigration law and policy through the lens of Catholic social thought.
