President Garibaldi, Deacon Sanders highlight Black Catholic History Month lecture

University of Detroit Mercy President Antoine M. Garibaldi, along with Deacon Hubert Sanders of the Archdiocese of Detroit, were the featured speakers at the inaugural Black Catholic History Month lecture on Nov. 16, 2021.

The lecture, hosted by the Office of Mission Integration, centered on “Detroit’s Special Place in Black Catholic History.” The addresses by President Garibaldi and Deacon Sanders were delivered in the College of Health Professions on the McNichols Campus.
