The University Safety Team has released its April 2022 “Safety First” newsletter, which highlights information on requesting departmental training from Public Safety, unauthorized ladder use on campus, weather awareness week, as well as feedback the team wants to hear from its readers.
The safety team is comprised of Detroit Mercy colleagues from facility operations, public safety, health professions, the learning center, athletics, life sciences and chemistry.
The safety team helps ensure the safety of everyone across all campuses. The focus for the group is on reducing building hazards, emergency preparedness and compliance for chemical safety.
