Detroit Mercy’s Office of Academic Affairs recently announced that faculty at the McNichols Campus, School of Dentistry, and School of Law will be promoted or granted tenure, effective fall 2022 term.
Renee Courtney (College of Health Professions), Mariam Faied (College of Engineering & Science), Grace Anne Jacek (College of Health Professions), Rafael Rocha Pacheco (School of Dentistry), Andrew Papa (College of Liberal Arts & Education), Joshua James Thomson (School of Dentistry), and Theresa Wyatt (College of Health Professions) were promoted to associate professor with tenure. Sonya Kowalski (College of Health Professions) transitioned to associate professor with tenure. Leslie E. Scott (School of Law) was promoted to associate professor. Ana Janic (School of Dentistry) was promoted to clinical associate professor. Associate professors Anne Kohnke (College of Liberal Arts & Education) and Stephen Wilks (School of Law) were granted tenure. Daniel Kroupa (College of Liberal Arts & Education) was promoted to Lecturer II.
Gregory Bozimowski (College of Health Professions) and Andrea Kwasky (College of Health Professions) transitioned to professor with tenure. Jill Turner (Library) was promoted to library professor. Stephanie Conant (College of Engineering & Science), James Todd Hibbard (College of Liberal Arts & Education), Jacob Kagey (College of Engineering & Science), Cristina Lockwood (School of Law), Maia Platt* (College of Health Professions), and Linda H. Slowik (College of Liberal Arts & Education) were promoted to professor.
