Join Detroit Mercy Law and the legal community in celebrating the 110th annual Red Mass on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at noon.
The Red Mass, which will be held at Ss. Peter & Paul Church on the Riverfront Campus in downtown Detroit, is an occasion for judges, attorneys, civic leaders and law students of all faiths to come together and pray for blessings and strength for the work in the new school year.
The 2022 Red Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Nathaniel Romano, S.J., the assistant director of Campus Ministry at Marquette University. The Honorable Shannon A. Holmes ’98 of the 36th District Court will lead the Renewal of the Lawyer’s Oath of Commitment. Keir Ward and family will also be special musical guests at the Mass.
A luncheon reception will immediately follow the service in the atrium of Detroit Mercy Law.
