Tim McCabe, S.J., executive director of the Pope Francis Center in downtown Detroit, will discuss homelessness in Detroit at the Oct. 18 gathering of the Jesuit Friends & Alumni Network of Detroit.
McCabe, a 1993 alumnus of Detroit Mercy, leads a team of staff, volunteers and partners at the Pope Francis Center whose goal is to eradicate chronic homeless in Detroit.
The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and includes lunch at the Detroit Athletic Club.
