- Honorable Mention — Kristel Hope Ndakwe, “The Flowers: A Creative Imitation of Virginia Woolf’s ‘The Mark on the Wall'” (short story)
Scholarly Essay category
- First place — Alexa Krauth, “Why It Is Important for Women to Be in Politics”
- Second place — Cari Gamlin, “The Construction of the Woman Frankenstein: How the Perfect Woman Is Created in the Early Modern Period”
