Commencement ceremonies are underway for Detroit Mercy’s Class of 2023!
The School of Dentistry and School of Law ceremonies are Friday with the McNichols Campus ceremonies following a day later on Saturday from Calihan Hall. A breakdown of a few of the numbers for 2023 Commencement:
- More than 1,000 graduates (1,086) are expected to participate and walk in the four commencement ceremonies on the McNichols Campus during the four ceremonies Friday and Saturday.
- This number includes 759 graduates participating from the McNichols Campus, marking the fifth-straight increase since 2016.
- There are 473 graduates participating in the undergraduate ceremony.
- Another 286 graduates are set to walk in the graduate ceremony, which includes 37 earning doctoral degrees.
- School of Dentistry features 191 candidates and the School of Law has 189 candidates.
