Students: Earn mini-grants for Creative Community Engagement Projects

Do you have creative ideas for a service-learning project? If so, Detroit Mercy students can get leadership training and money to help coordinate their projects.

Ford Community Corps Partnerships (FCCP) grants provide funds to support student-faculty teams that have creative student-learning ideas. In the past, the program has provided funds for projects, such as:

  • Students from a Political Class support an agency that helps people facing eviction
  • Students from a Business Writing class create Canva templates to help a non-profit enhance their social media presence, any many others
  • Students from a Nursing course provided people facing homelessness with a health resources list
  • Law students provided youth in a foster care facility info about their legal rights

A look at many of the previous projects.

The deadline for proposals is Friday, Sept. 22 at 11:59 p.m.
