The 2023 National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Walk took place on Sept. 16 at Wayne State University with Detroit Mercy’s team raising more than $2,000.
UDM finished in ninth out of 83 teams in the fundraising portion of the event, which raised awareness about mental health.
NAMI provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.
