More than 100 Detroit Mercy Physician Assistant (PA) students and faculty members took part in the annual Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA) convention Oct. 12-15 in Traverse City, Mich.
While at the convention, UDM won a first-place award for a MAPA student promotional video that was made prior to the event.
The Detroit Mercy PA students, in partnership with other PA programs in Michigan, raised more than $12,000 for the MAPA partnership charity, Sexual Assault Services of Southwest Michigan.
Detroit Mercy also hosted more than 100 Titan PA alumni, who also attended the convention.
